Yes, we are entitled and privileged!

Yes, you are entitled!

Yes, we are entitled, but not in the way you might think. If you’ve accepted Christ as your Lord, you have inherited a new identity. We’re not entitled or privileged because we’re Black, White, Native American, Asian, Hispanic or any other nationalitie. Further, we are no longer who or what they (the world) say we are. We are, in fact, a son or daughter of the Heavenly Father by the new birth. A new creation. A creation that never before existed. We’re privileged because of who we are in Christ! God has made those who chose to be a part of his family members of the royal household of God!

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens (sojourners), but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. Eph 2:19 ESV

You are a family member of a royal household like no other. Yes, we have inherited these rights and entitlements and, with them, tremendous responsibility: To serve others as Christ did.

Christ rescued us from the hand of the enemy and took upon himself what we deserved, giving unto us what he earned: our very lives into eternity.

And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” I Cor 1:28-31 ESV

And beyond that, we are privileged to serve others on our Lord’s behalf—to lovingly invite everyone into the family of heaven.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] boast in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2 ESV

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.[a] The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling[b] the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. II Cor 5:19-21 ESV

Rejoice ye all,
